Terms of Service

Last updated October 4, 2026

These Terms set out what you can expect from MA Class Planner and what we ask of you in return. By creating an account, starting a free trial or subscribing, you agree to them.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of MA Class Planner (the “Service”). If you use the Service for a school, club or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

The Service is built for martial arts instructors and schools, and is intended for use by adults. You need an account to plan classes, and you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.

You are also responsible for the details you enter, including any instructor names and email addresses you invite to your school. Invitations must only be sent to people who work at your school and expect to hear from you.

3. Free trial and paid plans

New accounts start with a 14-day trial with full access and no card required. When the trial ends your school keeps access to your saved curriculum at the Individual level; the School Pro features (your own logo and watermark on exports, team management and shared curriculum) need an active School Pro subscription.

Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars.

4. Billing, renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions are paid through Stripe, our payment processor. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in Settings; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

We may change prices with reasonable notice. A new price never applies to a period you have already paid for. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us and we will put it right.

5. Your content

Your lesson plans, schedules, overviews, drills, life-skill lessons, templates and school settings belong to you. You give us the limited permission we need to store, back up, display, print and export that content so the Service works for you.

You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to use anything you upload or paste in, including a school logo or photograph you add for branding. We only look at your content when we need to operate or support the Service, including when you contact us for help.

6. Our content and the built-in library

The Service itself belongs to us and is licensed to you for use in running your classes: the software, the app design, the built-in drill library, the life-skill lesson scripts, the templates, and our name and logos.

You are welcome to print library content and teach from it in your own classes, and to adapt it for your curriculum. You may not resell, republish or redistribute the library, offer the Service or a copy of it to others, or use our branding outside the Service.

7. Acceptable use

Please use the Service the way it is meant to be used. In particular, do not:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or mislead anyone;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use;
  • try to access another school's data, or work around a plan limit or a feature that is not included in your plan;
  • resell access, or share your login outside the school it belongs to;
  • scrape, overload, probe or reverse engineer the Service, or use automated tools against it;
  • use our contact form or support email to send bulk, automated or unrelated messages.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

8. Availability, changes and support

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service: maintenance, updates and failures in our providers can all cause interruptions.

We may add, change or retire features as the Service develops. If a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we will give notice to account owners. If we ever discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your curriculum. Support is available by email at support@maclassplanner.com.

9. Safety and professional responsibility

The Service is a planning and organisation tool. It is not safety, medical, legal or professional advice, and it does not supervise anything on the mat.

You are responsible for your classes and for the people in them. That includes checking that any drill, exercise or lesson in the Service is suitable for the age, ability and physical condition of the group in front of you, that it fits your style's standards, and that it is taught under proper supervision.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that every drill or script will suit your school, or that content you export will reproduce identically on every printer or device.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profit, lost students, or lost or corrupted data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects rights you have as a consumer.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to close your account by emailing us. Before you close it, use the backup option in Settings if you would like a copy of your curriculum.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, for example one being used to send spam or to reach another school's data. If we close an account for a reason other than a breach, we will refund any prepaid period that has not been used.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service develops. We will post the new version here with a fresh date, and we will email account owners about a change that significantly affects them. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which MA Class Planner is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts there.

14. Contact us
